“I have a good relationship with the coaches over there. It never went bad, it never went sour. We have always had positive and very good communications and we were very open about the whole situation toward each other. I will have a couple of weeks here in Holland before I head back. But I will definitely be going back to Jackson’s. I had a great run, four wins in a row fighting out of there. The coaches are great and we all get along. As well as the fighters, the gym is stacked with all kinds of fighters; girls, guys, all kinds of weight classes. There is great energy there and I cannot wait to get back in it.”

“They treat fighters like dogs to promote their events and make money. They only promote (Conor) McGregor, this piece of shit. And Ronda (Rousey) was created by the media. Cris destroys her. They should have signed Cris a long time ago. She’s the best in the world, there’s no one to beat her. She’s a warrior who never gives up, but these douchebags in the UFC spent years making fun of her. The UFC is full of douchebags. The way they treat fighters is ridiculous. I never wanted to fight in the UFC for any money. They are destroying the sport. Cris is by far the number one and there’s no one to beat her, but she didn’t have the opportunity to show that yet because the UFC has boycotted her. They want a pretty girl like Ronda, they don’t want real fighters. The UFC knows people would compare Ronda and Cris. They made Ronda become a star, and when she was finally tested she got beat up badly and gave up. Ronda is not a real fighter. A real fighter goes down but comes back. It’s easy to be a fighter when it’s all good.”

Fight Night 87 Arlovski vs Overeem

It’s not often that 2 fighters from the same gym fight each other, although it does happen from time to time, both fighters are representing Jackson-Winklejohn MMA Camp.

UFC Fight Night 87’s main event will pit the number 3 ranked Overeem against the number 5 ranked Arlovski in Rotterdam. When asked about his relationship with Overeem, Arlovski said “There’s no relationship,”

The “Pitbull” believes Overeem broke the unwritten team rule when he requested to fight Arlovski “He put Greg Jackson and Mike Winklejohn in a spot. In my opinion, it’s not right,” said Arlovski.

While Andre & Alistair were never the best of friends, the animosity is greater now than ever before.

Arlovski says it’s now personal between him and Overeem, and said that he will never spar or train with Overeem again.

“Absolutely not,” he said when asked about the possibility. “Absolutely not. No.”

Andrei says he & Overeem are teammates (they both train at Jacksons MMA gym)but he does not like Overeem. The reason? Alistair went to the UFC and asked to fight Arlovski. It seems like the coaches have pick sides, both Jackson & Winleljohn will be in Andrei’s corner.
