“Don Frye is a legend in this sport and one of the toughest guys to ever compete,” UFC President Dana White stated. “He was known for putting on incredible fights like his one with (Yoshihiro) Takayama in PRIDE, which is still to this day one of the craziest fights I’ve ever seen. Congratulations to Don Frye for being selected to the 2016 Class of the UFC Hall of Fame!”

The California Kid also had this to say about UFC Champion Dominick Cruz
“That has been a concern. Part of it’s a testament to him working hard, part of it’s a testament to having a weird style, part of it’s a testament to him [competing] in a sport he’s probably not built very well for, but it’s a concern to make sure he makes it. I’ve asked the UFC to take some extra precautions to make sure there are people on hand to cover his nooks and crannies and all that good stuff to make sure he makes it.”
